All Ukrainian Art Therapy Conference, March 15-17, 2024
Over the past few days, we offered a series of art therapy training workshops to over 60 art and psychological therapists who had travelled from across Ukraine to Lviv in the western region, some from regions heavily impacted by the full scale invasion of the country by Russia. There were also an additional 60 or more people joining on line.
These photos and short video clips were taken during one of the workshops in which the group’s individual artworks were spontaneously joined into a strong line which several people identified as a strong border.
Supported by expressive art therapist Nathalie Robelot-Timtchenko and integrative art psychotherapist Eden Orfanos Shoro of @firstaidofthesoul (who co-hosted the conference), the line evolved into a place of crossings and connections. We are following this first post by further reflections in the next few days.
