To celebrate their beautiful contribution to the Ovada Gallery's current exhibition, Unprecedented, Bobby Lloyd and Miriam Usiskin, lead art therapists/artists from Art Refuge, will present an illustrated evening talk about aspects of the charity's work including @coronaquilt, a virtual public art project about daily rituals responding to community level displacement as a result of Covid19, and the role of their project, The Community Table, in the work they undertake supporting people seeking asylum, on both sides of the English Channel.

Offering further insight into the approach and methodologies of Art Refuge, Bobby and Miriam will then guide participants through a series of short, playful art making activities, using domestic objects and Zoom as a creative tool before finishing out the evening with an opportunity for questions and further discussion.

This free event will take place via Zoom and is open to all, with no previous experience necessary.
